If mountains had emotions
and the sky had thoughts
Would they ever duel?
What would they tussle about?
How would they converse?
Can they speak a common tongue?
Will the clouds roar and grumble?
Will the mountain respond with a rumble?
Would the pointy peaks stay polite and humble?
Or resort to rudeness until they crumble?
How long would such an immortal dispute last?
Would hatred transform into love at last?
